Kaamos Lodge

Opened in December 2025, Kaamos Lodge, built atop Aavasaksa, has been designed with respect for nature and seamlessly blends into its surroundings. Combining modern comfort with authentic Lapland charm, it makes it an unforgettable destination all year round Arctic hideaway. 

The resort consists of 80 energy-efficient cabins (Gámmes) each with twin beds and a separate bathroom. The living area has a kitchenette and a seating area and the bathroom, with shower, has a sauna.

The main building, which serves as the heart of the resort, includes a warm reception, cosy lounge and stylish bar. Enjoy the finest flavours of Lapland in the 160‑seat panoramic restaurant, offering impressive views of the Tornio Valley landscape, where local ingredients are transformed into high‑quality dishes prepared for you by a Michelin‑trained chef.
