Kaamos Lodge

Opened in December 2025, Kaamos Lodge, built atop Aavasaksa, has been designed with respect for nature and seamlessly blends into its surroundings. Combining modern comfort with authentic Lapland charm, it makes it an unforgettable destination for an all year-round Arctic hideaway. 

The lodge is near the Finnish/Swedish border, in one of Finland's 27 national landscapes - chosen for their unique representation of Finnish culture, history, and nature.

The resort consists of 80 energy-efficient cabins (Gámmes) each has a bedroom with twin beds, two armchairs, coffee table and TV and the separate bathroom with shower, has a sauna. The kitchen area has a table and chairs, a 2-ring induction hob, fridge, kettle, dishwater, utensils, cutlery and tableware. Both the Gamme Park View and Gamme Forest can take an extra bed on request (for a child) - a single sofa bed which will be in the bedroom area alongside the window (so no armchairs and coffee table).

The main building, which serves as the heart of the resort, includes a warm reception, cosy lounge and stylish bar. Enjoy the finest flavours of Lapland in the 160‑seat panoramic restaurant, offering impressive views of the Tornio Valley landscape, where local ingredients are transformed into high‑quality dishes prepared for you by a Michelin‑trained chef.

Relax in the sauna and spa area with indoor and outdoor relaxation pools, both offering panoramic views of the river valley below. The sauna area has changing rooms - currently the price is 55,00 euros per person for 2 hours and includes a bathrobe, towel and slippers (children up to 15 years get a 30% discount) - massage and spa treatment prices are available on request.

You can also enjoy a range of activities. In winter, try husky safaris, snowmobile tours, or a traditional reindeer ride. Summer and autumn bring opportunities for hiking, canoeing, and cultural experiences. The activity centre is located just 5 minutes away.

Cabin (Gámme)

With twin beds. Living area with a kitchenette and a seating area. Bathroom with shower and sauna. All units are located around the Fell with forest, park and river valley views.
