Please bear in mind that local conditions have to be taken into account when booking activities. However, the activities described are discussed individually with your guides locally so that the duration and time suit your requirements. It is not a question of having an activity at a fixed time.
Aurora Snowmobiling
Nighttime snowmobiling is an exhilarating experience in search of the Magical Northern Lights on this exciting snowmobile tour. Ride over the winter landscape and with a little luck, the sky will be clear, and Lady Aurora will paint the star-studded sky.

Cross Country Skiing
- People in the Nordic countries have used skis for more than 5,000 years, and they used to be the most common method of transportation. Your guide will teach you how to use the skis before your guided tour in the surrounding nature.

Gentle Snowshoeing
Get up close to the nature of Lapland. Snowshoes are a wonderful way to explore the surrounding winter wonderland. Listen to the snow crunching as you walk and look out for animal tracks, hopefully you may see some local wildlife too.

Husky Safari and Farm Visit
A must-do experience when visiting Lapland is dog sledding - a favourite of the Sunvil Team. After meeting the excited huskies take your seat on the sled, or the musher/driver position, before being pulled out into the surrounding wilderness. Enjoy the silence and watch the snowy landscape glide past as the dogs happily run in the snow.

Ice Fishing Trip with Snowmobile Sleigh
You will be transferred to a nearby frozen lake by a snowmobile pulled sled. At the lake, your guide will teach you how to drill a hole in the ice and how to ice fish in the traditional Finnish way. While you wait for the catch of the day, your guide will tell you all about the way of life in Lapland.

Meet the Reindeer
On this tour you will meet a local reindeer herder and his reindeer. During the visit he will tell you stories of the indigenous people of Lapland, the Sami, and their lifestyle and traditions that have been upheld for thousands of years. You will also have the opportunity to feed the reindeer and a short reindeer sled ride.
