The walled city of Verona boasts many magnificent Roman ruins as well as fine churches, monuments and palaces. Piazza dell’Erbe, with its daily market, is the heart of the city from which the primary attractions of Castelvecchio, Casa di Giulietta, the Cathedral, the amphitheatre and the Renaissance garden of Giardino Giusti are within easy walking distance.

Verona

Verona In Love

Verona in Love is the event dedicated to Love and to Lovers; the event takes place in the main squares of the city and it is a tribute to San Valentine and to the Shakespearian tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. From the 11th to the 14th of February 2016 the city will host live concerts, tastings and handicrafts events, typical local markets and you can visit Juliet’s house for a reduced price. Rosanna is the head of our Discovery Department which covers tailor made holidays to Portugal and the Azores, Italy and Sicily, Scandinavia and the new programme to Spain. She is our longest serving member of staff having joined in 1994 after completing an honours degree in French and Italian and subsequently working for a tour operator in Yorkshire. She is responsible for brochure writing, contracting accommodation, programme costing, computer inputting and generally troubleshoots where necessary.
