Pousada de Lisboa

Lisbon is the most underrated of European cities. With a great deal to see and do, this is a vibrant city, historically rich with a wealth of picturesque streets, excellent restaurants, fascinating ancient districts and within an easy train journey of the resorts of Estoril and Cascais and the hill resort of Sintra with its fabulous summer residences of European royalty and aristocracy.

The Pousada is located in what was formerly a stately mansion in Terreiro do Paco, The Palace Square, in the commercial and historic part of the city where  for centuries trading ships docked and, which along with the whole of Lisbon was virtually destroyed in the earthquake of 1755. The interior of the pousada and especially the public areas and including a delightful courtyard have been completely and magnificently restored and the rooms are modern and chic and with some spectacular city views.

Tourist Tax: There is a tourist tax for all visitors staying in Lisbon, Cascais and Estoril. The tax will apply to all hotels and pousadas and must be paid directly to the hotel at the end of your stay. Children under 13 years old are exempt. The amount payable is 2 Euro per person per night with a maximum payment of 7 consecutive nights.

Deluxe Room

Deluxe rooms with air-conditioning, double or twin beds, bathroom (bath and/or shower), hairdryer, telephone, cable TV, complimentary WiFi, safe deposit box, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and spectacular views to Praça do Comércio, Rua do Ouro or Lisbon City Hall.

Suite

Suites with air-conditioning, double bed, bathroom (bath and/or shower), hairdryer, separate living room, telephone, cable TV, complimentary WiFi, safe deposit box, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and spectacular views to Praça do Comércio, Rua do Ouro or Lisbon City Hall. Suites will accommodate extra beds for an adult or two children. Two suites interconnect with one another.
