Under five minutes walk is the beautiful Zrinjevac Park, a part of Zagreb’s Green Horseshoe which consists of seven green squares in the Lower Town
Hotel Astoria is an elegant hotel with a traditional feel. You won't find white contemporary clinical minimalism here, furniture and décor are traditional and the atmosphere is cosy.
Restaurant Ragusa is open all day for a la carte meals and the buffet breakfast is considered one of the best of any four star hotels in Zagreb. Some locals even come to have business breakfast meetings here.
Glama Bar is a small cocktail-lobby bar with some lounge style seating on the ground floor. The lobby area has some additional seating.
There is a range of room types and it should be remembered that this is a city hotel where space is limited. Even so, all rooms are of good size, some very spacious.
Just up the road, in the same street is one of Zagreb’s oldest restaurant and well worth a visit. The name is “Purger” which is the word for an old citizen of Zagreb.
This hotel is a perfect base from which to explore Zagreb on foot as it is easy to find the way back!
Transfer time from the hotel to Zagreb airport is usually 25-30 minutes.
