Playa Nicuesa has a tropical setting on a 165 acre private reserve located within the Piedras Blancas National Park.  It has been sensitively constructed from naturally fallen trees and recycled materials and also has its own solar energy.  It offers wooden cabins with a private balcony (or terrace) with rainforest views, jungle-chic furniture and open-air jungle showers.

The main lodge is designed like a large rustic treehouse with a thatched roof.  Meals are served in one sitting in the upstairs section of the main lodge with an emphasis on local cuisine, fresh fish and tropical fruits.  Vegetarian dishes and children’s menus are also available.  The bar is adjacent in the same area.  There are also separate lounge areas with comfortable sofas and hammocks.  There are beach chairs and sofa beds down by the lagoon.

Please note all the cabins have full length louvre doors which are open to the surrounding rainforest.  Every room has a mosquito net.

There is an excellent choice of activities including kayaking, hiking, fishing, stand up paddleboarding and yoga (some activities are payable locally).  A sanctuary for relaxation and adventure.
