A 9 night trip through the Avenue of Volcanoes which includes the 3 nights/4 days train ride on the Tren Cruzero from the lofty capital and World Heritage site Quito to Ecuador's largest city, the port of Guayaquil. The train zig zags its way through 273 miles of stunning Andes scenery including one of the world's highest active volcanoes Cotopaxi and skirting the perpendicular cliffs of the Devil's Nose. Tren Cruzero operates between June and early September and between December and February.
