The Osa Peninsula, far down on the southwest coast of Costa Rica, is considered to be one of the most biologically intense places on earth. The Corcovado National Park covers a third of the peninsula and is Costa Rica’s largest national park at 164 square miles. On the borders of the national park, tucked away in the trees, surrounded by rainforest and fronted by a beach is the 170 acre Corcovado Wilderness Lodge, which is only accessible by boat from Drake Bay- with the transfer being very much part of the excitement of reaching the property.
Committed to a balance and harmony with nature, the lodge is committed to protecting the environment, promoting and protecting cultural heritage and improving the lives of its employees and the region's inhabitants.
You are captive here, so you have no option but to stay close to nature and observe the wonder which surrounds you. You can choose from snorkelling, scuba diving, whale and dolphin monitoring, mangrove tours, kayaking, sportfishing, arboreal tree climbing, night tours, hiking and, of course, bird watching. Of course you could just simply relax, swim, make use of the SPA and pools and revel in a unique experience.
