Electra Hotel and Spa

This 5 star hotel opened in 2021 and is operated by the long established Electra Hotels group.

Overlooking the Ionian Sea the hotel is 350m from sandy Ammes Beach on Kefalonia's south west coast, and only a five minute transfer time from the airport. It comprises just 34 tastefully decorated guest rooms and suites on ground or first floor, all sea facing. They offer high modern standards of comfort, and all the mod cons you'd expect.

Hotel amenities include a lovely main pool area, a fitness centre, restaurant, pool bar/snack bar, and a spa with an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a full menu of treatments available.

It is just a 4-5 minute stroll to sandy Ammes beach which has sunbeds. Also within a 5 minute walk are a couple of local tavernas and the bus stop for Argostoli Town which takes about half an hour (10 kms).

Due to the hotel's limited room numbers, the Electra has an intimacy and a level of personal service that larger hotels find difficult to match.

Please be aware that the hotel is located close to the island's airport. Aircraft approach over the sea here, so will be seen and heard (note: runway closure c 11 pm to c 8 am) but this does not seem to bother the majority of guests and all rooms have double glazed doors and windows - please see the hotel online reviews for guest comments relating to this.

30 sq m for 2 persons. Double bedded first floor room.
