This 4 star hotel was built on the ruins of the ancient Sancti Spiritus Convent dating from the 12th century in the small Mudejar town of Olmedo, a 45 minute drive from Valladolid and 145 km from Madrid. It is easily accessed by the high-speed train linking Madrid and Valladolid.

The property is composed of the original historic building with the addition of 2 modern, integrated buildings. Legend has it that a spring which was to be found below the convent had medicinal and holy properties. This was confirmed in 2005 when such a mineral spring was found beneath the subsoil.
