The reopening of international travel has brought a period of unsettlement: mixed messages, false statements and general confusion. Day-by-day the media news cycle has heightened, leaving many - travellers and some within the industry - in a state of flux. I felt therefore it was important to write to you to provide the latest information and to remind you that the team and I are always at the end of the phone to answer any questions you may have. Six months after the end of the 2020 holiday season, I am, today, writing to you from Corfu, where the team and I are putting the finishing touches to our plans for summer 2021. My journey is timely with Greece not only celebrating Easter but also easing its own winter lockdown to prepare to greet its visitors – It is a day that I have waited ‘patiently’ for… or if truth be told, ‘impatiently’.
