Get in touchAllow us to whet your appetite for a Sunvil holiday with our collection of inspiring blogs, compiled by the Sunvil team and our guest writers. From sharing our favourite viewpoints and local tavernas, to recommending those must-see attractions and the experiences that we ourselves have enjoyed, our blogs are styled to give you a taste of the real destination.
Winter 2022/23 will see the extension of the Arctic Route, a series of public transport routes seamlessly connecting the three Nordic countries. Departure points include Tromso, Alta, Narvik, Rovaniemi, Abisko, Kiruna, Lulea and Rovaniemi as well as many small communities that are touched along the way. Each journey is available daily, enabling Sunvil's destination experts to carefully-craft the perfect break for our travellers. In our latest blog we have highlighted five of our favourite combinations for inspiration.
Agustin Garcia has been at the Spanish Tourist Office in Lonon ever since I can remember. He is in charge of trade relations. There is not much Agustin does not know about Spain - or a place that he has not visited - over the last 40 or so years that he has been at the tourist office. So, when Agustin invites you on a familiarisation trip to Spain you never say no, because you know that something special is highly likely.
Easter is the highlight of the Greek calendar. As Easter approaches, you feel a different tempo building up throughout the country. Taverna and restaurant owners around the islands busily spruce up their properties in readiness for the year ahead.
The Sunvil team have been out and about travelling to our featured destinations and meeting with local partners. Some of the team have ventured to new destinations independently, staying at various accommodation types, trying local delicacies, testing out excursions, and meeting with hoteliers and representatives to discover hidden gems. Below you can read the travel highlights of Nicole, Alison, Kellie, Jordan, Noel and Chris.
Two years after the world’s borders closed and global society as we know it was paused, it feels finally that the travel industry we love is back doing what it does best: fulfilling the holiday dreams of our travellers. And we could not be happier.
