I had long wanted to go to Rhodes and this autumn I finally got to this glorious eastern Greek island. My interest was particularly piqued by its connection with the Knights of St John Hospitaller (but, spoiler alert – there is much more to it than that).
Our colleague Zoe and her family took a long overdue holiday to the pretty harbour town of Parga in September. A picture-postcard resort on the mainland of Greece’s north-western Preveza region, it nestles in a small, sweeping bay between the hillsides of green olive groves and azure-blue sea.
