Greece Holidays

Kythnos, Cyclades

Over the past 45 years we have had plenty of time to seek out the 'best' of Greece and Cyprus. Our latest programme reflects this wealth of experience and our passion for the countries. Each property featured has been handpicked by our team and we have carefully-designed a range of fly-drive and island hopping holiday itineraries to help you to discover the real country.

Active Greece

A little activity whilst on holiday is no bad thing. The most popular pastime for our clients is walking, and to this end our local representatives in many areas have collated a number of possible walks - nothing too strenuous (it's warm!) - which are made freely available to guests. See below for further details of other 'soft walking' options available from many of our resort areas in Greece.

Kinsterna Hotel and Spa

One of the attractions of a holiday in Greece has traditionally been the simple lifestyle – an 'away from it all' back to basics holiday which is reflected in comfortable albeit 'no frills' accommodation. However, the past few years has seen a growth in smaller, deluxe properties which are at least the match of those found for many years in rural Italy, Portugal and Spain. This new breed of small upmarket hotels can be found in some unexpected places - often in locations of outstanding natural beauty away from the crowds.

Family in Swimming Pool, Skopelos, Greece

Warm, safe waters, sandy beaches, relaxed tavernas where children are welcome, a huge range of water sports, plus cuisine that should appeal to even the fussiest of little ones – all these important ingredients make Greece a top-scoring destination for families. Even the educational box is ticked, with many archaeological sites bringing to life fascinating ancient Greek myths and history.

Zagori National Park

A fly-drive holiday on the mainland offers the opportunity to discover some of the most beautiful areas of Greece. The richness of the history, scenery and interest here is vast. A flydrive allows you to explore areas rarely featured in holiday brochures, and will well reward the more independent traveller in search of more adventure than the normal holiday provides.

Serifos, Cyclades

Island Hopping - the classic Greek holiday! But if you are no longer feeling up to making your own way, battling with the vagaries of Greek ferry timetables and booking accommodation which may or may not be as advertised, then let us take the strain. We will organise the whole thing - including all transfers and ferries – leaving you to simply enjoy your trip with no worries.

Walking in the Mani

Greece is a rewarding destination for walkers, offering a huge variety of spectacular routes and idyllic trails. Take a simple stroll through olive groves to a hidden cove and sparkling sea; follow a scenic coastal trail to a remote lighthouse; venture into the mountains for traditional villages, dramatic views and peaceful goat paths lined with heady maquis; tackle challenging hikes through dramatic gorges, or ramble past crumbling Byzantine chapels and across ancient ruins in the cradle of western civilisation. Novice and seasoned walkers alike won’t be disappointed.

Greek Easter

Springtime is always a lovely time to visit Greece. Greek Easter is the same as the UK this year – Sunday 15th April – which makes for a great opportunity to combine this famous celebration with some early summer warmth. The Peloponnese – the southernmost part of the Greek mainland – is one of Greece’s most beautiful, historic and scenic regions, so we are delighted to offer a range of well priced and flexible holidays here.

Watersports (Waterskiing) in Tolon

Surrounded by three seas – Aegean, Ionian and Mediterranean – Greece boasts not only the longest coastline of all the Mediterranean countries, at nearly 8,500 miles in length, but also 2,000 islands, of which just over a tenth are inhabited. From these startling statistics, it’s clear that water sports are a big part of holidaying in Greece. Great weather, the Greeks’ longstanding and mythical mastery of boat building and voyaging, and the sheer joy of beautiful beaches and gentle blue waters around such a vast coastline mean that, no matter what your preferred way of interacting with water, you’ll be able to enjoy it on a holiday to Greece.
