Arise with the sun and you’ll find that you’ll have the beach to yourself, bar a few fishermen, perfect for a rejuvenating stroll or a refreshing morning swim. From this moment on the day is yours. Will you relax in a hammock in your lawned garden, bathe in the private outdoor Jacuzzi or utilise the SUP board (kayak attachment provided) and head to the waters?
It maybe that you’d prefer to head to Barbati’s old village for fresh pastries, spinach pies or some sweet and sticky baklava, or to one of the beachfront tavernas for a refreshing drink and lunch.
For us, Barbati has much to offer: it has retained its traditional ambiance whilst offering low-key bars, tavernas and shops. The beach has sun loungers and services to one end, and a quieter, natural spot to the other.
With your car (a local bus service also connects Barbati to Corfu Town and northwards towards Kassiopi), we encourage all guests to head inland and discover the remarkable, lush and mountainous interior of the island; the Venetian capital of Corfu Town (Kerkyra) and the diverse coastal communities. There is something for everyone on Corfu.
