The Kalamaki Villas are set in nearly 7 acres of mature gardens, trees and luxuriant vegetation on a hillside between the small seaside villages of Petalidi and Chrani (c. 10 minutes’ drive from each). They are the perfect choice for couples, friends and families looking for comfortable, well equipped villas in a peaceful location and at very affordable rates. A private pool (5m x 10m) at each property is an added bonus.

Their commanding position ensures quite wonderful views across the Gulf of Messinia to the Tagetus mountains of the Mani opposite. The nearest good beach, called Kalamaki, is only a mile distant and has a well liked taverna on it. There are two further tavernas on the coastal road below the villas, a 15 minute walk away (20 minutes back uphill!). The Sunrise Hotel is also to be found on the coastal road below the properties. More tavernas can be found in the coastal village of Chrani, a 10 minute drive away and a favourite with our clients.

Although a car is included, those that do not wish to drive can be transferred from the airport to the villas by taxi or can take the local bus from the airport towards Chrani and Koroni which stops at the Sunrise Beach hotel. Taxis can be booked from Chrani when necessary for provision shopping in either Chrani or Petalidi villages or for visits to beaches and Koroni.

Noel Josephides

Noel is Sunvil’s Chairman. Born in Cyprus in 1948, he joined John der Parthog at Sunvil in 1973. Before that and following university, he spent 3 years as a trainee buyer at C&A Modes and then worked for a large Cypriot builder and property developer for whom he set up a London Office buying electrical components for the Middle East and importing lemons from orchards in Cyprus. He still researches new destinations for Sunvil and is heavily involved in matters relating to the travel industry. He is a previous chairman of ABTA, a long standing director and previous chairman of The Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) and former chairman of The Travel Foundation - the travel industry’s sustainability charity.
